Rosemary Joy Glidden is a multimedia artist and educator who splits her time between New York City and Nantucket. She primarily works with natural materials; such as wool, hemp, linen, both oil and water based paints, and found objects. Her work is inspired by a search for belonging. Her paintings explore the rapidly changing and finite nature of our environment. She draws inspiration from everyday life and her work seeks to highlight our relationship with the natural world. She graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in 3-D Fine Arts in 2015. Rosemary is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting at the New York Studio School.
