After majoring in graphic design at the Art Institute of Boston in 1986, Elizabeth’s exceptional talent and creativity were recognized when she was awarded the prestigious title of Best Senior Portfolio. This accolade marked a significant milestone in her early career, showcasing her distinctive style and artistic vision. In 1991, she decided to settle in the picturesque community of Nantucket, a move that would profoundly influence her work. Surrounded by the island’s breathtaking landscapes, charming architecture, and vibrant seasonal changes, Elizabeth continues to immerse herself in her artistic endeavors, painting and drawing inspiration from the natural beauty and unique character of her environment. Her art not only reflects her deep connection to Nantucket but also captures the essence of life on the island through her vivid, captivating creations.
