I have lived on Nantucket for over a decade and am still awed by its beauty in all seasons. I am drawn to the waters edge and how it is always changing; watching the water and light dancing across the horizon feels magical. My paintings often reflect a simple passing beauty that is confronted by feelings which are also fleeting —- loss, nostalgia, freedom, happiness— and are often, to me, meditations in themselves.
