Nicci is a Nantucket native with a passion for creating whimsy nautical illustrations and paintings. She works primarily with traditional materials such as ink, watercolor, pencils, and markers, which she found love for during her college years. Nicci is inspired by the nature and people she grew up with on island which is why she often creates pieces with sea captains, fishermen, and many funny fish. When she’s not creating or teaching Nicci enjoys riding her bike, reading, and traveling. She attended Savannah College of Art and Design and received her BFA in Sequential Art in 2016. Since graduating she has worked on various projects such as graphic design, murals, illustration, and comic commissions.
