Course Description

Students will learn how to throw simple forms such as bowls, mugs and cylinders. Individual skill development will be enhanced as students practice combining handbuilding techniques to add handles, lids and sculptural surface elements. We will explore glazing and surface design. Advanced students will be encouraged to further develop their technique through more challenging projects.

*Wheethrowing can be very messy so please dress accordingly- short sleeves recommended. Feel free to bring an apron.

*Thanks to a generous donation from The Nantucket Golf Club Foundation, youth class tuition is discounted 25%. (Discount automatically applied at checkout)
