Course Description

Young children and their caretakers gather for a nourishing story, which serves to inspire the art activity of the morning. Children will work with a variety of media on a simple project, led by Liz or Lizbet, assisted by their trusted adults. Through creative activity involving painting, drawing, printing, fiber arts and 3-d work, children explore a variety of sensory materials, exercising and developing their fine motor skills. The creative process provides young children valuable opportunities to strengthen their dexterity, learn creative problem solving, and practice perseverance and focus in a playful setting.
