In Studio Still life or Landscape
$200 per single or two people, $50 per additional student.

Plein Air Landscape Painting
$400 per single or two people, $100 per addition student.

Figure and Portraiture
$300 per single or two people, $50 per additional student.

Drawing from Observation
$200 per single or two people, $50 per additional student.

Digital Art
Procreate or Photoshop
$200 per single or two people, $50 per additional student.

Private Critique

Constructive feedback on your work from a supportive professional artist working in your media.
$60 per 30 minute in studio critique

Scheduling

At the AAN:
Mondays & Fridays only.

Off Site & En Plein-Air may be scheduled with more flexibility throughout the week.

Please schedule 2 weeks in advance.

Studio Rentals at the Visual Arts Center

Private Studios
Private and shared studios are rentable for $250 monthly June through August, and for $200 monthly September through May.

Ceramics Studio
Shared space in the ceramics studio is available to ceramic artists capable of working with clay, glazes and equipment responsibly and without supervision. Applicant’s level of professionalism, artistic quality of work, and commitment to the Artists Association of Nantucket Community are taken into consideration.

Printmaking Studio
Private use of the printmaking studio will be possible from October onward, when classes are not in session. For availability please inquire. Daily fees start at $50, and do not include use of tools and materials.

Please follow our posted “greener” standards for working and cleaning up.

  • Gamsol and Galkyd only
  • Clean brushes, tools, surfaces, & palettes with vegetable oil & soap provided
  • Recycle clean plastic, metal, cardboard, and glass in green bins
  • Dispose of paper towels & rags with paint, ink, and solvents in red cans

  • Turpentine, liquin, or mineral spirits
  • Toxic or fumey fixatives, glues, or cleaners
