In this class, students will be introduced to the the unique, one-off nature of mono printing by experimenting with mark-making, layering different materials, and using various tools to create diverse textures and imagery using a gel plate. The process encourages a playful, intuitive approach where there are no mistakes, allowing for creative responses and a connection to visual elements like nature or abstract concepts through a hands-on, immediate method of creating unique art.
