Course Description

Students in this class will explore the traditional process of creating comic pages and strips. Start from developing characters and planning out your story to creating completed pages. Have fun penciling, inking, and coloring your own unique comics!

Nicci Aguiar

Nicci is an illustrator from Nantucket whose passion for cartoons, animation, and comic books led her to study Sequential Art at Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating from SCAD in 2016 Nicci moved back to Nantucket where she continued to create her fun and silly illustrations. Nicci teaches Comics, Illustration, and Digital Art at the Artists Association of Nantucket. When Nicci isn't painting she can be found riding her bike and reading comics on the beach.
