Join the 2025 Erin Donohue and Family Ceramic Artist in Residence, Srinia Chowdhury, in this colorful and creative class! Students will be introduced to innovative surface decoration techniques that merge traditional printmaking methods with ceramic art. Participants will explore Sgraffito, mono printing, photo lithography, and laser toner transfer processes adapted for use on clay surfaces, resulting in intricate and multi-layered designs.
This class will be aimed to-
• Familiarize students with the principles and tools of printmaking adapted for ceramic surfaces.
• Encourage experimentation and creative exploration in combining printmaking with ceramic forms.
• Cultivate an appreciation for the interplay between surface design and three-dimensional form in ceramic art.
OPEN STUDIO TIME Additional studio hours are available to adult students who are registered for a class to practice the skills you have learned.
