For the past 51 years, I have been an active member of the Nantucket Artist Association. It has been stimulating, challenging and rewarding. It has given me the opportunity to show locally while continuing to learn through experimentation of techniques and subject matter. I try to keep moving and not get too comfortable with any technique or subject matter.
Initially I took courses at the MFA under the tutelage of Miss Sears and on Nantucket studied with the Flemish still life style artist, Irmgard Arvin. I currently show my work through the AAN, The Concord Artist Association and the Wellesley Artist Association.
