Quantum Wei first started practicing Kintsugi in 2021 when he wanted to fix a broken souvenir plate (two pieces, epoxy + liquid gold leaf). Since then, he has ventured deeper into the art by working on more complex breaks and utilizing traditional materials (urushi lacquer), and constructing a muro (wooden curing box). He hopes to one day take a Kintsugi class in Japan, where he has traveled extensively.
He is also the Founder of Harmony Desalting, a Desalination Technology company based in Boston, Massachusetts. Harmony Desalting focuses on developing innovative, energy-efficient desalination processes to make clean water more accessible and affordable.
