Penny Scheerer is a retired Nantucket attorney who has studied watercolor and mixed media technique with Jeanne Dobie, NWS, AWS; Katie Trinkle Legge; and numerous other AAN instructors. She won the C. Robert Perrin Watercolor Award in 2003 and her work has be selected for various jury awards. Nantucket, with all its historical, nautical and natural treasures is the perfect muse for her, and she hopes her paintings celebrate the essence of such a special island.
