Walt Lucas studied under Margaret Bourke-White and Ansel Adams. He bought a home in Quaise in the ‘50’s and moved to Vestal Street in 1971 after a career in corporate photography. Walt taught photography at the AAN, and he was a master at retouching negatives of historic images for the NHA. He painted oils later in his career.
