The Sidewalk Art Show Ledger covers outdoor exhibitions from 1952-57.

The 1931 Brownie camera photos set up by artist and show assistant Rae Carpenter document the 2nd year of the annual event, founded and hosted by Maud Stumm. In 1931 and for many years, it was held on the outside walls of the Sanford Mansion, at the corner of Federal and Broad Streets where the Town Building now stands.

The 1941 image is of Ruth Sutton in rain gear riding on an Island Service parade float advertising the SAS for that August 18, 19, 20.
