The sample pages here are the in-bound minutes from the 1st official meeting on 9/6/1945 of the association (second meeting in general, as the first public gathering was to discuss the feasibility of an association.) Everett U. Crosby is noted as temporary chairman. Emerson Tuttle elected Chairman, Peter Kerr Secretary-Treasurer. Dues - $1. Notes made by Julian Yates.

Motion passed to elect to membership the following: Katherine Shaw Greene, Isabelle Hollister Tuttle, Georgie Putney, Louise Emerson, Harriet Lord, Elizabeth Saltonstall, Ruth Haviland Sutton, Florence Schepp, Julian Yates, Sarah Marindah Baker, Charlotte Stuart Kimball, William O. Stevens, Mary Turlay Robinson, Anne Beach, Elinor Gibson Graham, Austin Strong, and Mr. and Mrs. James Reid Parker.

Elmer Greene was elected Chairman/President (after the early 1946 death of Henry Emerson Tuttle) and Julian Yates Secretary-Treasurer. In addition, elected to the official Executive Committee: Isabelle Hollister Tuttle, Mrs. Edmund Putney (Georgie, but not Georgie Walling), Louise Emerson, Harriet Lord, Elizabeth Saltonstall, Ruth Haviland Sutton, and Florence Schepp.

A decision was made to print a notice of the formation of AAN in the I&M.
