Chick Tennant joined the AAN in 1985. He primarily works in acrylic and watercolor using a combination of airbrush and traditional brush techniques.
He has been painting Nantucket since 1980, focusing on the interaction of sky and water.
He attended the Solebury School in New Hope, Pa, and Lea College in Albert Lea, MN. He exhibited in numerous shows in Connecticut before 1985, and with the Ridgefield Guild of Artists.
