Course Description

Learn to design, carve and print your own images onto cards, postcards and/or ready-to-frame paper. Sample various carving tools, inks and block materials. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to re-visit the process. My view of printmaking is that “everything’s an experiment”- and a fellow printmaker says, “printmaking is for imperfectionists” - so if you are at all hesitant, don’t be! Join the fun.

As a printmaker, Barrie creates block prints using wood, lino, and soft carve, as well as screen prints created with hand cut stencils.
