SAFELY CREATING at the VISUAL ARTS CENTER during COVID-19
We are thrilled to be open and able to offer our community wonderful arts experiences at the Visual Arts Center on 24 Amelia Drive! However, to be respectful and responsible, we have made some changes to ensure safety and good health to all each person who enters our building, and to everybody with whom they live and work.
Please read through the following information to acquaint yourself with our new practices. We thank you so much for your patience, patronage, and continued support. As always, contact us with any questions or concerns at (508) 228-0722.
SAFE PRACTICES AT THE VISUAL ARTS CENTER:
Classes and Workshops for all ages will adhere to Massachusetts guidelines.
Each of our three floors have one class running at a time.
Each studio and all shared supplies will be sanitized between classes.
Enrollment is decreased for appropriate social distancing.
Staff, teachers, and students of all ages will wear masks at all times.
Material Lists are adjusted for safe sharing, or no sharing. For example, students will bring their own aprons and paintbrushes. Ceramics and printmaking tools will be sanitized between classes.
Students and staff will leave as much personal property in their cars and there will be no food on the premises.
Students enter our rear doors, and exit the front doors when possible.
