AAN’s education program at the Visual Arts Center offers year-round classes, workshops, lectures, and demonstrations for adults, children, and teens in a wide variety of media including ceramic sculpture and wheelthrowing, painting, watercolor, life drawing, printmaking, fiber arts, mixed media, book arts, and more. Classes are taught by AAN Artists Members, trained art educators, and visiting artists from all over the world and are designed for all levels of experience and ages.

Birthday pARTies

Let our talented teaching artists create an inspiring private party to celebrate your child’s special day (for children ages 2–18). Families provide the decorations, food, beverages, and goody bags. AAN provides professional art instructors, studio, equipment, and all art materials.

Rates begin at $350 for an 90-minute party for up to 10 guests. Additional people are welcome to join at $35 per person, up to 20 students. Birthday parties are available from September–May and should be booked one month in advance. For details, contact Maggie Murray.

Art Parties for Adults

AAN offers pARTies for all ages. We can accommodate up to 20 adults in our spacious art studio for a two-hour art party. You provide the food and refreshments, we provide professional art instruction and all art materials and equipment. Rates begin at $500 for up to 10 adults, includes all equipment, materials, set-up, and clean-up. Additional guests can be added at $50 per person. Art pARTies are available from September–June and should be booked two weeks in advance. For more information, contact Maggie Murray.

Art Studio Rentals

Semi-Private Art Studios are available for rent year-round. To inquire about renting a studio, contact Maggie Murray.

Private Classes

Private classes are available in most art mediums, year round, for a single student or a group/family. Private classes can be held on-site at the VAC, outdoors, or the student’s home. Prices vary depending on medium, size of the group, and number of teachers required. To arrange a private class, please contact Maggie Murray.
