  Pollak was a photographer known for his portrait of Jose Formeso Reyes. He was president of the AAN from 1948-1954. Walter G. Pollak, of 250 East 65 Street and Nantucket, Mass., who was active in Wall Street for more than 60 years, died Wednesday in New York Hospital. He was 79 years old. Mr. Pollak was senior partner of Auerbach, Pollak and Richardson, stock brokers, of 30 Broad Street. New York. He began his Wall Street career as a runner in 1900 and was a member of the New York Stock Exchange from 1911 to 1930. Born in New York City, he resided for many years in Bronxville, New York, and had maintained a home in Nantucket since 1926. There, he was a patron of the Kenneth Taylor Galleries, a member of the Wharf Rat Club and, during World War II. a member of the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. An accomplished photographer whose work was exhibited in many salons, Mr. Pollak was a former officer of the Miniature Camera Club of New York and was a Life Associate of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.
