Art Classes, Workshops, & Events for Children
Welcome to the AAN schedule of classes for children, ages 3-14. Below is a partial listing of the classes & workshops offered this winter & spring. Please keep checking back for additions & updates throughout the year. If you wish to sign up now, please go directly to Sign Up for Classes. There you can search by program, dates, and class details.
You will also find links to classes throughout this listing. Once you've identified a class you wish to attend, simply locate it in our shopping cart, indicate the dates you desire, and register online. It's that easy! If you have questions, please call the AAN office at 508 228 0722.

Winter/Spring Arts Program: January 23 - June 25, 2010
PRE-SCHOOL ARTS PROGRAM with Nicole Gross
NEW mixed media art exploration classes for our youngest artists & their caregivers!
LITTLE CREATORS, Ages 18-36 months
Spring Session: Wednesdays, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. March 10 - 31. Tuition: $60, materials included.
Children much be accompanied by a caregiver.
EXPLORING SPRING, Ages 3-5
A spring-themed mixed media art exploration class for preschool age children and their caregivers to enjoy together! Children much be accompanied by a caregiver.
Mondays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. March 8 - 29. Tuition: $60, materials included.
ARTS PROGRAM for Ages 6-14
CLAY IN THE GARDEN, Ages 6-9 with Lori Garrabrant
Create one-of-a-kind garden creatures, wind chimes, planters, and more while exploring all forms of clay sculpture & handbuilding in this fun and messy class!
Mondays, 3:00-4:30 p.m. March 8 - April 12. Tuition: $135. Materials: $30.
CRAFTS, Ages 6-9 with Alicia Hull
In this fun arts & crafts class, students will explore various art media which may include beading, lanyard, wood crafts, and more!
Tuesdays, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. March 9 - 30. Tuition: $90. Materials: $15.
NES COLLABORATION
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON PROGRAM with Linda Zola
The AAN is collaborating with the Nantucket Elementary School to provide afternoon art classes on Wednesdays for the year.
SPRING SEMESTER: Grades 2 & 3
Dates: April 7, 14, 28, May 5, 12, 26, June 9, 16
Tuition: $171 per semester, materials included. Transportation provided by NES.
TEENS
Teens, ages 15 and up, are welcome to enroll in all of our Adult Classes & Workshops!
SPECIAL EVENTS, CAMPS, & WORKSHOPS
SCHOOL VACATION ART CAMPS with Meredith MacNab
Join the AAN & Meredith MacNab for these fun, week-long, mixed media art camps! Topics may include such media as painting, drawing, collage, soft sculpture, & batik.
Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tuition: $225. Materials: $25.

MAY WORKSHOPS

PRIVATE CLASSES
Have a group of kids who love art? Let the AAN help you plan a private class! Private classes can be arranged anytime of the year. Please call early to allow us plenty of time to make arrangements.
