McGlinn, Janet Ball

1915-1988

McGlinn founded the Nantucket Printmakers with Schuyler Bradt in 1969. She taught printmaking, especially the technique of collography, at the AAN when the workshop existed during the winter in the Lower Gallery of the Kenneth Taylor Galleries. She specialized in colographs of common Nantucket scenes like scalloping, and her famous Moby Dick print series was featured at the Fair Street Museum in 2009.
