Registration Information & Policy

All classes are held at the AAN workshop studio at 1 Gardner Perry Lane, unless otherwise specified.

Class space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Many classes fill quickly. You are enrolled in your class when full payment has been received. Enrollment determines whether or not a class will run. High school students enjoy 50% off all adult classes and workshops. Year-round Nantucket senior citizens enjoy a 20% discount.

							Spring 2008 Adult Painting & Drawing Classes Life Drawing/Open Studio - No Instruction. Managed by a monitor. Tuesdays, 7-9pm. April 8-May 27. Tuition: $100 for 8 weeks or $20 per evening to drop in. Ask about our "punch card." Adult Computer Classes Advanced Photoshop for Photographers with Daniel Sutherland Tuesdays, 7-9pm., April 8-May 27. 8-week classs. Tuition: $280, lab fee: $40 Adult & Teen Clay Program April 1 - June 2 NO CLASSES: April 21-25, May 26 All clay classes are taught by Lori Garrabrant. Clay Level 1: Intro. to Wheelthrowing & Handbuilding For total beginners & students with little experience who still need a fair amount of instruction. 7 weeks. Tuesdays, 6:30–8:30pm. April 1–May 13, May 27–Glaze day. Tuition: $225/Members: $202.50. Materials: tbd Clay Level 2: Intermediate/Independent Wheelthrowing & Handbuilding Wednesdays, 6:30-9pm. April 2-May 14, May 28- Glaze Day. 7 Weeks. Intermediate: For students who have enough experience in chosen method of construction (wheelthrowing or handbuilding) to work independently, but may still need help trouble shooting and with more advanced topics. Tuition: $280/Members: $252. Materials: tbd Independent: Experience Required. NO instruction. Studio Fee: $175/Members: $157.50. Materials Fee: tbd Clay Material Fees: Clay Fee: $15.00 per 25lb. Bag. Glaze Fee: $2 per piece. There will be a higher fee for larger work. Firing Fee: $1 per piece, per firing. There will be a higher fee for larger work. Clay Class Information: Finished work will typically be ready for pick-up within two weeks of the Glaze Day. Students/Parents must pick up finished work before the next class session begins, we do not have room to store finished student work. All programs and dates are subject to change.
